We tried to get Harper into the play at the beginning of the year but she was interested. Eventually she changed her mind and decided that she did want to be in the play but by then it had already filled up.
It had been a long time since I witnessed a real live play and was really looking forward to seeing what these kids had worked for. Not to mention, I love the Narnia stories. We've been reading "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" at home for awhile now (only half way through) and it was great to see the story come alive through these kids. Now maybe we can finish reading the story.
Harper is friends with many of the cast members, made up of all different ages of homeschoolers. I was really impressed with their acting skills, remembering their lines and many of the kids had great singing voices. Hopefully this will inspire Harper to try out the theatre next time.
